Marshmellow

Marshmellow is a 1992 VW MK2 GTI. From 2013 to 2021 Marshmellow lived in a field in the middle of West Virginia. Before that I don’t know the history. After that she has been mine, and here is a visual journal of the work to bring her back from the brink, and onto the road.

What’s happened so far

  • Custom 4 to 1 medium length header

  • Custom 2.5 inch exhaust with high flow cat, Vibrant Performance Resonator, Borla Pro Xs muffler

  • Stock 1.8L 8 valve head rebuild

  • 5 speed manual with 1/5th of a clutch

  • Stock suspension

  • Floor pan repair, rust treatment, sound and vibration isolation
