This is a rear axle that fits the 1989 model Toyota pickup. When working on the truck I removed one of the drum brakes and found what looked like a leaking brake system or a leaking axle seal. So I did what any intelligent man would do, and took the entire thing apart. All the seals have been replaced. the run out and preload on the differential has been brought back into spec and the entire assembly was sandblasted and then repainted. It has been stored under cover for for a year after its been built. Some surface have slight surface rust, but clean up easily. It was my intention to modify this axle to fit disc/drum parking brake, but I never got around to that. so this assembly comes brakeless.
